"Believe you can and you're halfway there." - Theodore Roosevelt

Hello my friends and anyone new that I might have attracted to my blog! Welcome.

Tonight, in preparation for showcasing something for my blog, I decided to flip through some articles in the Stampin' Success magazine that demonstrators get each month.  It has ideas for projects, celebrates creativity, has experiences from people of all walks of life, and helps demonstrators like me to set goals and reach them.  This month has been sort of a milestone month for me because I have set some goals with my good friend Anne and I have been reaching them.  Like the quote from Theodore Roosevelt says, we have to first, believe that we can.  And I really believe that I have found the job that I've been looking for in Stampin' Up.  Remember when you were 16 years old and you had to figure out what you wanted to do with the rest of your life? Well, that was me only up to recently! Sometimes, we try different things to see how and if we like it.  I've tried everything you can possibly imagine.  I even tried to set up my own photography business.  But nothing seemed to motivate me more than what I do with Stampin' Up.  I've never thought of myself as a creative person.  I love scrapbooking but that's more for me than for anything else.  And hey, I know I'm not saving the world or making a difference with my stamp pads and stamp sets.  But I am hopefully, brightening up someone's day when they get their mail and they see something homemade just for them.  Or a person comes to one of my classes and learns something that they once thought was impossible.  That's what I like.  That's what keeps me going and what keeps me motivated.

There are so many good things in store for the next few months.  I hope to share it with you all as well as the excitement and enthusiasm that playing with bits of paper can bring.  Just believe that you can and you're halfway there!
