As we gear up for the week ahead, I wanted to share a card with you that I created for my friend and manager, Stephanie. She was throwing a house warming party to celebrate her first apartment in Toronto and invited all of to share in the joyous moment. So I wanted to create something fun to match her personality. This is the card that I came up with:
This stamp set is one of my favourites, it's called "Under the Big Top" (page 63) and I used the coordinating Designer Series Paper called
"Big Top Birthday" (page 62). The ink colours I used are the ones featured in the paper are called Tempting Turquoise and Poppy Parade. The pennants that spell out the word "home" was created with one of the new Stampin' Up punches that is absolutely amazing. It's called the Petite Pennants Builder which enables you to create not only the outside of the pennant but the inside of it as well. I love it. And it seems to be all the rage these days in scrapbooking layouts and cards.
Stephanie loved the card and I really liked how it turned out.
